		<description>My goal is to acquire a position as a producer or director for either a sports talk radio show or a sports telecast. So, I was aware to the fact that positions are available behind the camera.

However, I was pleased to read the beginning of your post. I would agree that more position do exist behind the scenes and “off the air.” They are also probably the most important positions. They are in charge of the entire show, and the decisions they have can either make it or break it.

Furthermore, your advice and tips for each position were extremely helpful. I will now be looking to volunteer, intern or even work at a local station. Like you said, “It’s never too early to gain exposure.”
